The Best HubSpot Backup Apps in 2026

Who is writing this: We make CRM Data Backup & Restore, one of the tools on this list. Every fact below comes from each vendor's public pages, checked on July 1, 2026.

The realistic HubSpot backup field in 2026: HubSpot's built-in recovery tools for recent deletions, ProBackup for storage-priced multi-app backup, Rewind if you can wait out its HubSpot waitlist, SysCloud for association-preserving restores at quote-only pricing, Skyvia for the cheapest multi-app entry, Struto backHUB for agency-managed HubSpot-only backup, and CRM Data Backup & Restore for HubSpot-only backup with merge protection.

Which HubSpot backup app is best in 2026?

There is no single best. Teams backing up many SaaS apps get the most from ProBackup (from $25/mo) or Skyvia (free 1 GB tier). Compliance-heavy teams should shortlist SysCloud. HubSpot-only teams should look at Struto backHUB or CRM Data Backup & Restore by Third Space, the only tool here with published merge protection.

"Not published" means the vendor's public pages do not state it, which is worth knowing in itself. All vendor cells checked July 1, 2026 against: probackup.io/pricing, rewind.com/products/backups/hubspot, syscloud.com/hubspot-backup, skyvia.com/pricing, and struto.io/pricing/backhub. Our column comes from our pricing page.

HubSpot's native tools

HubSpot itself provides a baseline: deleted records can be restored from the recycle bin for up to 90 days after deletion. Past that window, with no backup taken beforehand, recovery is generally not possible, and you should be skeptical of anyone who claims otherwise, including backup vendors. Native capabilities change over time, so for what HubSpot currently offers around exports and data recovery, check HubSpot's own documentation rather than any vendor's summary of it, ours included. The native route costs nothing extra, which is a real advantage. What it does not give you is an independent, scheduled copy of your data held outside HubSpot, which is the entire reason this product category exists. Choose HubSpot's native tools if your portal is small and a 90-day deletion window covers your actual risk.

Checked July 1, 2026. For current native capabilities, see HubSpot's documentation.

ProBackup

ProBackup covers roughly 20 apps, from HubSpot and Pipedrive to Jira and Notion, and prices by storage rather than team size: Plus at $25/mo billed annually ($31 monthly), Pro at $38/$47, Premium at $69/$86. HubSpot backups run every 24 hours, and it is SOC 2 Type II certified, built on AWS with AES-256 encryption. Contact restore is genuinely flexible, with a choice of creating new records or overwriting existing ones with field-level selection, and its support docs say contact restores bring related engagements and files back. Other object types restore as duplicates only, and ProBackup's own FAQ notes that API limitations prevent backing up every data type. Cross-object association restore is not explicitly documented, and no merge recovery is advertised. There is no free-forever plan; every tier starts with a 7-day trial, no card required. Choose ProBackup if you want one storage-priced tool covering many SaaS apps, not just HubSpot.

Rewind

Rewind is one of the best-known names in SaaS backup, covering Shopify, GitHub, Jira, QuickBooks Online, and more, and that reputation is earned. Its HubSpot product promises daily automated backups at the same time each day and restore of "individual items, including workflows, contacts, deals, campaigns, and emails" up to the entire account, with unlimited version history. The catch, as of July 1, 2026: Rewind's own HubSpot page is labeled "Waitlist", and HubSpot appears nowhere on Rewind's pricing page, so there is no published HubSpot price or trial length. Association handling and merge recovery are not mentioned on the HubSpot page either. Rewind reports achieving SOC 2 Type 2 in May 2022 on its blog. Choose Rewind if you already trust it on other platforms and are willing to join a waitlist rather than deploy today.

SysCloud

SysCloud backs up eight platforms including HubSpot, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce, and it makes the strongest association claim of any tool here: its pages state that restores "maintain HubSpot object relationships" so records come back "with all their relationships intact". Backups run every 24 hours plus on-demand, cover 20+ HubSpot objects including custom objects, retention is unlimited by default, and point-in-time restore works at the account, object, or single-record level. Compliance depth is real: SOC 2 Type 2, SOC 1 Type 2, and HITRUST CSF mapping. The trade-off is pricing: SysCloud publishes no dollar figures at all, so you must request a quote, and the 30-day trial is limited to businesses, non-profits, and educational institutions. No merge recovery is advertised. Choose SysCloud if association-preserving restores across several platforms matter more to you than transparent pricing.

Skyvia Backup

Skyvia Backup covers 40+ cloud apps, from Salesforce and HubSpot to Shopify and NetSuite, with storage-based pricing and a real free-forever plan: $0 for 1 GB of storage with 3-month snapshot retention and one-click restore included. Paid tiers are the cheapest in this comparison: Standard at $9/mo ($7 billed annually) for 20 GB with unlimited snapshot retention, up to Enterprise at $499/$399 for 1 TB. Its pages describe daily or recurring scheduled backups plus manual on-demand ones, restore of single records through to all data, and an "Undo Changes" feature for reverting bulk updates. Skyvia claims SOC 2 certification (type unspecified), GDPR compliance, and HIPAA with a signed BAA. Associations are not mentioned anywhere on the backup product page, and no merge recovery is advertised. Choose Skyvia if you want the lowest-cost multi-app backup and can live without documented association restore.

Struto backHUB

backHUB comes from Struto, a HubSpot partner agency, and like our product it is HubSpot-only, protecting "HubSpot data, schemas, and files" with storage on Amazon S3 and Rubrik. It is the only tool here advertising hourly backups (Enterprise tier); Basic and Professional run daily. Version history runs 30 days on Basic, 90 days on Professional, and unlimited on Enterprise, and the product page claims a recovery time objective under 4 hours. Pricing is agency-shaped: £22, £75, or £150 per month plus one-time setup fees of £600 to £2,400, with no free plan or trial published. Compliance language is GDPR-only; no SOC 2 or ISO certification is claimed on its pages. Associations and merge recovery are not mentioned. Choose backHUB if you want an agency-managed, HubSpot-only backup with hands-on setup and hourly frequency at the top tier.

CRM Data Backup & Restore by Third Space

This is our product; hold it to the same standard as the rest. CRM Data Backup & Restore by Third Space is HubSpot-only and newer than every other tool here; weigh both. Backups capture every property and every association on contacts, companies, and deals, but not activities, emails, notes, or engagements. Frequency is plan-based: monthly on Free (up to 2,000 records; records past the cap are not backed up until you upgrade), weekly on Starter ($29/mo, or $21/mo billed annually) and Growth, daily on Pro and Enterprise, with retention from 7 to 365 days. The differentiator is merge protection: one-click restore from pre-merge backups, plus Emergency Unmerge operations included on every paid plan (10 to unlimited per month) for merges with no backup at all. Duplicate detection is still rolling out. Choose CRM Data Backup & Restore if HubSpot is your only CRM and bad merges are your biggest risk.
